Insurance Coverage for Lactation Support
When using insurance, the following convenience fees apply:
Initial Visit: $75
Follow Up: $25

I am partnered with The Lactation Network, an organization that is able to bill your insurance plan directly for your lactation visit. If authorized, lactation care and follow ups as needed will be covered.

Convenience fees will apply.

A travel fee ($100) will apply for home visits more than 7.5 miles outside of my travel zone.

I am an in-network provider with Aetna (excluding HMO and QPOS plans). If authorized, Aetna may cover up to 6 lactation visits. Please check with your plan to see if you have lactation coverage, and then contact me to schedule.

Lactation services are considered preventative visits under the Affordable Care Act. Unfortunately, not every insurance plan will cover lactation visits. In that case, I will provide you with a Super Bill to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Please refer to the National Women's Law Center Breastfeeding Toolkit for guidance in obtaining insurance coverage for lactation support:
